Kabul & Peshawar,
set in gold.
KP Hujra
KP Hujra serves authentic Kabul and Peshawar cuisine. The name comes from the hujra, the traditional Pashtun guest house where food is shared generously. The identity needed to feel like an heirloom: warm and ceremonial, but still quick to read on a takeaway flyer.
A crest that tells the story.
A chef’s toque crowns an arched frame that holds mountain peaks, a domed skyline and crossed cutlery. The geography and the hospitality are both in one mark. It’s rendered in antique gold on charcoal, with a light version for print on white and a business card that carries the same language into every handshake.
Eight pages, one system.
Starters, biryani and rice, karahi, grills, kebabs, kids’ meals, drinks and desserts. Each page sits on the same modular grid, with numbered dishes and cut-out food photography, so the menu is easy to scan and easy to reprice. The final InDesign files came with an extra-pricing variant so the client can update prices without a designer.
